Agree with Knight, mitering angles on longer stock is quicker with a scms. I though about a swivel base for the erika, moving the saw and trying to keep the extensions in place, but that's cumbersome.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm still intrigued by the saw and continue to consider purchase, especially if I can come up with a reasonable way to support longer stock for fairly quick miter changes. So far, it sounds to me like there really isn't one.
If I still need to carry around two machines, it doesn't make so much sense to me to invest so much to replace my jobsite TS when I'll still need my CSMS anyway. The wider stuff that can be done with the sliding table I usually handle with my track saw.
