At the moment I'm busy renovating some sash and case windows. Here is vid of using the router table on the erika to thin down the staff beads to turn them into parting beads. You can buy the beads off the shelf. The problem is they are usually to thin for the grooves in the pulley stiles .

Here is a vid I have done showing basically why I love the erika and the mfa fence. Truthfully how many people would be confident to cut material like so without using a tape measure and pencil to mark the size

Good stuff, Aaron. Is there a flip-stop available for that fence?

Unfortunately no. The groove for the flip stop is on the back, where the groove needs to be on the top for the mafell flip stop. The 1m fence extension has the groove on the top for the flip stop. I guess one could have a flip stop manufactured if they wanted to

Or just clamp a block on there, for repeat cuts. I wonder if the Incra one would fit?

Question for those that have an MFA. Does one need the #038294 Clamping piece to attach the #203396 fence guide extension to the MFA? Is a clamping stop needed to join two of the fence guide extensions?
Thanks,
John

Yes and no. No if just doing cross cuts etc and yes if ripping say a sheet of mdf or something along those lines so you know the fence doesn't budge. Or you can just something like a quick clamp. Only problem with that looks rubbish but works. The clamping piece looks good in use and works

Thanks!
I know the clamp is needful if you're using the MFA as a rip fence. Is it needed to attach the guide rail to the MFA for cross cutting? Is it required to join two guide rails?

No not needed for cross and bevals or at least I've never felt the need. If joining two rails you need a connecting piece 038393 you can't join the 500mm fence to the 1m fence only the 1m fences can be connected

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Chip collecting Cleanbox Starter-Set #203402 and the Chip collecting system Cleanbox 5 piece set #203575?
Does anyone have any experience with the Supporting leg #038401? Is it used with the Fence guide extensions? If so, how? Are the sheet metal support #038410 & the Adjustable stop #038675 required?
Thanks,
John

Thanks, John On the clean box sets one comes with the plastic adapter to hook the box on the back of the saw and the other is a set of 5 boxes only no adapter. I've being using the same box for over a year and now I'm changing after the hole is getting a bit tatty.
