how many tracks could you get in it? Lots. I usually have two 160s, a 110, a 80 and a small random cut off that is about 16" long. I could easily add a couple more 160s.

Excellent. I'm still waiting on my bosch rails and bag. I hope it is as big as the Mafell bag.

I have both bags because I ordered the two 160 bosch rails on that awesome toolstop deal when they had it. I'll take a few pictures of the bags together and make a follow up post tonight.

Mafell & Bosch rail bag comparison- The mafell has more of a thin hard plastic between the canvas feel. The bosch a slightly padded foam feel between the canvas. The bosch zipper rounds the two ends so the bag can flip open all the way so the rails can be stacked. The mafell zipper is just on the top but not an advantage either way. The mafell zipper storage pocket is bigger (mostly thicker off the main bag). No real advantage here because they both have more than enough room for rail ends, clamps, connectors, misc other crap. All in all they are both nice bags with embroidered logo's. The Mafell feels slightly more durable but that could be because of the stiff feel in contrast to the Bosch soft padded feel. I don't know how to tell scientifically but the Mafell is louder when you scrape a fingernail down the material. King of science here with an observation like that:)

Great comparison, thanks 7. More then enough room for my 3 1600, 1100 and two 800.
I was on the fence about the bag but it should work OK.

Wow - had no idea that it would store that many rails. I think I might be getting one of these and adding an 800 rail to the mix...maybe the angle unit too since it seems like a perfect accessory for the jigsaw.

Thanks for the info and pics. Looks like a worthwhile accessory for the rails.

Will the KSS400 cross cut rails fit in the Mafell rail bag?
Thanks, John

Nope, that things too big. (wide) I'll try and get a picture for you.
I need a storage solution for the Kss400 cross cut rail...

As a new mafell owner, I too am going to be switching to only Mafell rails. I have 2 - 5' rails now. I hate the way festool splinter guards keep moving on me. The Mafell splinter guard is locked into a keyway. Much better imo.

Thedude - Thanks, I kinda thought that might be the case.
Calideck - I hear you. Better rails are part of the attraction.
