Except for the video I posted, from the others I’ve watched it seems like having this saw on site would make confidence and productivity soar. holmz, did you purchase locally or overseas? If overseas were there any import hurdles? From Tobias. The only hurdle was the fatness of the wallet, which is never fat enough.

I looked up Tobias's company and I could not find Mafell listed on its site. Did they stop carrying the brand? Maybe I typed it wrong.
The link on Ebay seems to work, though. Weird.

I paid for my kss 50 in June. Will the difference in the exchange rate matter now?

Don't see how. Once you've paid the asking price, that's it - you're all paid up. Irrespective of exchange fluctuations, price increases or discounts, the retailer bears the difference, if any.

What does the plug look like on the German versions of the tools? I know they are all 230 volt but am curious if it is a two prong plug or 3 with ground. I’m close to pulling the trigger on the German version of the MF26cc. I don’t mind the voltage as I have plenty of those outlets available.
I think the UK 110 volt models are all 2-pin (no ground) like the US models.

Almost all modern "small" power tools are double insulated. They will have a double concentric cube symbol (one inside the other) on the type plate/sticker. Double insulated tools cannot, & must not, be ground connected. All 220-230v Euro tools (non-UK) will have a variant of the double cylindrical pin plug fitted.
There is no earth.
