I've seen that video before. It's in Dutch which happens to be my native tongue I'm not really up for translating the entire video word for word, but I'll watch it again and see if I can sum it up for you. - The Erika is built sturdier, there's less flex in the chassis. - In particular he was extremely impressed with how the Erika stabilizes itself with just a single tap of the whatchamacallit doohicky stabilizer on the front feet. - He could not get his Precisio stable. - The Erika is extremely stable in his opinion. - He hates the knobs on the Erika and wishes he could exchange them with the Festool ones, as those are much more ergonomical. - He also liked how the extension tables for the Erika just slide on and are automatically aligned, whereas for the Precisio you have to bolt them on and align them to the surface. Which is a faff as the srews are very tiny and hard to reach. - When moving the Precisio sometimes the table widening extension come loose. - Unboxing and initial set-up time was about 30-45 minutes for the Erika compared to 2 hours with the Precisio. - He then estimates that after you know how it all goes together, the Erika can be set up in 10-15 minutes, the Precisio in 20-30 minutes. - Dust collection on the Erika is marginally better than on the Precisio. - His test cuts went about 0.5mm out of square on the Erika, 1.5mm on the Precision over a distance of 50cm. With the default miter gauge. He didn't know theres an additional rip fence for the Erika. - The Festool has a blade brake that stops the blade in 2 seconds. The Erika takes 7 seconds to stop the blade. - The Precisio also sounded a lot more civilized to him, wheras the Erika sounds more raw. - The Erika has 85mm height of cut, the Precision 70mm. - He concludes the Erika is all-round better constructed and engineered and can make more precise & accuarte cuts.

You know I still get amazed at how accurate my Erika saw is compared to normal site table saw. For just simple ripping of say 45mm strips you just set the fence using the measurements. Left or right no need to get a tape or rule out and it will be +/- .5mm I do still give the cut a quick check of the size out of habbit the size is right first time. Not like using a standard site table saw where you measure the fence at the blade cut then have to readjust to the right size

Looks like good dust collection.
Pulling material through the back side of the saw must be a technique from across the pond.......

Hi her is a wee short clip of putting a 10 degree beval on the Window frames as you can see the frame profiles have being produced using the Erika saw. The beval then got planed with a hand plane and sanded Aaron
