What's the reasoning again why export territories get 1 year and those closer to mafell get 3 ?
Is mafell grading their tools for export markets ?

Yes 3 year here and some dealers will pay for a collection too.
I try to have two tools that can do each task, not always possible though. Tool problems always happen at the worst time!

I lost it on them. I told them if I have another issues Im sending g it back and want full refund. Its ridiculous they have 1yr warranty. I think timberwolf is holding back. That's why hilti rocks. Warranty, service, quality.....blah blahs blah....

I know a handful of people that have it and they all say it has no balls. They either have it away, have it sitting on shelf of sold off.

Dam fat fingers. Clearly festival was meant to be festi. Brice have burned up hkc? Just curious has anyone had or have hkc and moved to kss 40 I auditioned a corded HK55 when they were first released here in North America, and was comparing it to my KSS-400 and KSS-300. A Fest employee suggested that the cordless saw was really intended for cutting sheet goods and 1x, and that if I was planning on cutting 2x and framing lumber I would need the corded version. The HK saw seemed clunky, poorly balanced, and just didn't seem like it was built to the same standards as my comparable KSS-400. I have a KSS40 that sees regular light use. No issues for me, other than the batteries can be a little wimpy when it's cold (below ~15F) out, but that's true for nearly all battery operated tools. Of course, this is not intended to invalidate those who've experienced issues, just adding a data point that I haven't had any issues. As a side note, it is my understanding that all of the Mafell tools that utilize the Metabo batteries are fitted with Metabo-made brushless motors. Of course, Mafell puts their name on the tool and ultimately owns any issues/warranty/customer service issues, but if there is a performance issue it might be something that Mafell is working out with Metabo. For their corded tools, Mafell builds all of their electric motors in-house.

I might just order and take advantage of that 30 policy festi has. Metabo has a better then 1/ yr not sure why maf has 1/yr.
