Metabo will bring an adapter to use two 18V Batteries on a 36V tool

I still would rather have the one 36v battery but it's nice to have options

Yes it means exactly that. I expect Metabo battery packs and I'm very curious if they go 1x36v or 2x18v. I will be going either to BWS in Austria Oct. 6 - 9, or Woodtec in Czech Republic, which is two weeks later, but much closer from where I live. I am in Slovakia. Either way, I will take pictures so I can post here on MUF. thankyou Mato, much appreciated

Hi All,
Could anyone explain what the difference is between MaxiMax and MidiMax for the KSS 300? Is it case size and ability to carry extra accessories? If so, which accessories?

Hi there, The midi only comes with saw, short track and parallel guide in a sustainer. I have the maxi which also comes with the flexi rail, clamp adapters. Cantvremember if it came with a pair of clamps or whether they came with my mt55!

No, no clamps come with it. Pretty sure the midimax still comes in a sys4, can't see how it could fit in a smaller one.

Just got mine out of my van, and it definitely wouldn't fit in a smaller sys.

Quick question on KSS300 owners -- is there any slop using the flex guide? I think 3 tabs engage the saw base at all times. Just curious is there is any slop or is it pretty good? I know there is a small amount of slop with my 80 on the F rail, so I imagine it would be similar. Thanks!

Also, anyone have pics on cut quality with the different blades? Does the standard blade work well in all materials or is it just better suited for sheet goods? How is the cut quality in solid wood with the 24 tooth blade?
Thanks

Minimal slop.nothing thats affects the cut. As you would expect, the rip blade has a rougher cut. Standard blade cuts well in sheet goods and even pre finished flooring. No more comparison pics from me until I get a new one

Or with care is the 48 tooth a good all around?

I purchased a bunch of blades for the MT55... the OEM blade is still on there. Part of the reason I got the saw was the quick change of blade...
