This is indeed a video by Gereedschappro, who also made the jigsaw movie. I just happen to know a bit more about the whole story and it's a bit more nuanced than what the people in charge of the FOG would have you believe. I'm just not sure it would benefit anyone to dig it all up again.
I do agree the video montage is very poor and the emphasis they chose was misguided. I can understand it rubs a lot of people in the wrong way. However you can find the different write-ups from each of the testers and in those you see they've gone in to very great detail about each tool and their tests were honest and thorough.
I'll just say I've personally dealt with the company behind the videos a couple of times now. I've placed orders there, sent e-mails with questions regarding different tools and brands. Not only did I get really quick feedback, they've always given me honest tool advice and information. They provide some of the best service around. It's my personal opinion those people were wrongfully accused and banned from that forum.

There is a tool show near where I live, but it's in October, and I needed a saw now. I guess I'll go and look at the kss300 then. If I can get a good deal, I probably get one.

Got my replacement saw mid week. It's got the same issue, just a little worse:
The gap is narrower in the middle. I put a straight edge against the cut, the beginning and the and of the cut touch the straight edge, but there is a gap in the middle of about 1 mm.

Are you clamping the track down? The only issue I've ever had was with melamine and an unclamped track where it was easier for the track to shift laterally on the surface if I didn't take care to press exactly downward and forward. Resulting in a curved cut. Looks like this is what is happening to you from the video and photos you've posted. Try clamping the track down and make the same cut; you should get a perfectly straight cut. I routinely join up to 20 feet of F-track and have only ever noticed a maximum of 1-1.5 mm deviation from straight at the middle of the 20 foot section. Take care not to apply lateral or twisting forces while cutting and be sure your hose and cord are not hanging things up. I love my mt55 and achieve absolutely straight cuts at 90 through 45 degrees. You should be able to see the same results.

Yep, I had it camped down quite tight, and did several runs. Still the same thing.

When using the mt55 you have to make sure the rail is overhanging the material both ends enough that the adjustment gibs are both engaged on the rail before the cut starts. also is the saw adjusted to the rail? Sorry if im saying what you already know. The kss saws don't have the adjustment to the rails so don't need the extra overhang, but don't have the same accuracy. I joined the forum recently to find out about the adjustments. I got the mt55 a couple if weeks ago and im very happy with it. Compared against the festool ts55 ive been using its better all round, and the rails are brilliant.

Going to try a couple of things tomorrow sometime to narrow it down. I know it seem s like I might be expecting to much maybe, but at the price of what the saw costs, I'd like it to be accurate. Also, the biggest dilemma is that this saw is the best one that I have ever used, and reading various forums, better than the festool or any other one in it's class. I'm loath to give it up.

I don't know if you have any new splinter guard I would fit one if available. The reason I say is when I got my cordless kss the splinter guard on the kss rail had previously being cut before I got my hands on the saw and there was a 1mm gap between it and the blade. So I had to change it straight away to me it didn't matter as I have the stuff there but for any newbie it is annoying. I would make the trim cut, then a cut at 90 then 45. On the 90 degree cut it don't matter if the material is saggy for the 45 ideally you don't want the material to sag ad that can cause a false straight

Cheers for the comments, it was a new saw, with a new track and splinter guard. I do have another track that I have not trimmed yet. Was just waiting to see if NMA or Miles tool ask for it back to check whether it's a track issue.

I would maybe try the back edge of each rail against each other see if that throws up any problems

Got. An email response from mafell stating:
" please explain to me where in the video it is told that the machine make the same cut at 90° or at 45°. I don’t see it, but I can’t tell you that no one machine on the market can do it from the technical side but try it out like I told you and if we can do it better, send them back to Allan we take it back to Germany and give our best to satisfy you once and for all. That your next video will show us how pride you are. "

At 2.40 in this video it's clearly stated.
