Matt and Jordan, both of you have the saw, would love to hear your suggestions on accessories. I'm ordering the MT55cc, the kit here in the US comes with the box, blade, saw only. Looking at rail options, they have a kit with two F160 rails, connector, case and clamps. They also sell the rails individually in various lengths and then there is the angle fence.
If you had it to do again, what combination of accessories would you get?
Thanks, Steve

When I snagged mine, I got the two 160 rails, this gives you 10'of track. The angle guide, the parallel fence and the plunge gauge. If I had to skip something it would be the plunge gauge.

Now I wish a guy was in the UK They have a kit that includes all of those items and comes at a lower cost. Here in the US, that "little bit of kit" when pulling all those pieces together is spendy. Ah well, once you've got it, you've got it, I'll forget what I spent in a year anyway.

I made the mistake of not buying clamps with the Rails. Not sure why I did that but its important to buy the rail clamps from Mafell since other makes don't fit. Two F-160 rails, one rail connector(F-VS), and two Rail Clamps.
I also have the Angle Fence(F-WA) but find it hard to use with the F-160 rails. Besides most of my applications for the Angle Fence are for shorter cuts so if you want the angle fence get a shorter rail. Perhaps the F-80.......You can always cut down longer rails if need be to get the exact size desired. Also if your attaching a rail to the Angle Fence you need a rail Connector (F-VS). Therefore i recommend having one Connector stored on the Angle Fence and a Second Stored on one of the two rails for longer cuts.
In summary the Pocket guide Set #204805 is the best deal. Thats what I should have bought with the saw! Dont overlook the Guide Pocket(Carry case) as its a pain not having a safe place to store when traveling. The Set includes the Following:
2x F-160(5.2 ft) Guide Rails 1x F-VS Guide Rail Connector 2x F-SZ Guide Clamps 1x Guide Pocket (Carry Case)

For me, I'd rather build a light weight but sturdy rigid case for my tracks than spend the coin on the sock. I haven't yet though...

Thanks guys, I pulled the trigger, MT55cc, F160 and F110 rail and rail connector are on order from Timberwolf. I had planned to purchase the 2 F160 rail kit (2 F160's, case, connector, and clamps)but the dealer didn't stock that kit. I got a package price with the F160 and added the F110 to allow for 8' sheet goods and to have a shorter rail that will act as my angle fence. I can always add I'll be looking to contribute with jigs and other thoughts in the near future. With respect to dust collection, will the MT55 connect to the Festool CT26 directly or is an adapter needed? Steve

Just to add, I think you made a good choice with your rail selection.

Great choices. I use my MT 55 with Festool Extractors and they work perfectly.
Its an amazing tool......the price will float away after the first project!

Hi
I guess some guys will not know that the bosch plunge saw tracks clamps ect are the same as the mafell
and may be cheaper or more readily available than the mafell items in the US.
