Saw the new small Metabo vac for just over 100 euro recently - I can't imagine it's much use at that price - just another Metabo 'China'.

Noticed that some cuts were not straight with my MT55 and the only thing it could be is the non-Mafell (1.8mm kerf) blade flexing. Importing Mafell blades is expensive and a bit dangerous at the moment, so I'm going to get some Festools, with the 2.2mm kerf - any real world problems doing this? They feel a little bit heavier than the 1.8mm blades, but not by much. (This is for the cordless MT55)

They feel a little bit heavier than the 1.8mm blades, but not by much. (This is for the cordless MT55) Depends what are you cutting, what batteries you use, how much you are abusing it. Blades- nothing wrong with FesT, but they need bit more "guts" at the best of times and 1.8... shouldn't be a problem either, if you'd get yourself lesser teethed ones or even 165mm (very popular size), just got to be careful about that 1.5mm depth at full cut depth difference.
