The cast is a really good group. I'm gonna miss them this season. I've decided not to return to Suits as I need a new challenge, but when you've spent so much time with a group of people you genuinely like, it's hard to leave.

What happens with the set afterwards?

For a television series we develop a lot of standing sets, reoccurring locations that appear frequently on the show. They can last for as many years as the show is on air. When sets are disassembled certain components can be reused and reconfigured into new sets...otherwise it's in the bin.

OK I wish I could show you guys build pictures of the set I'm on, not that it's much to look at right now, just rough in framing but it's interesting build wise. The set is a winding circular tunnel, about a 20' radius +, this kinda jogs around in places and has about 12 smaller tunnels shooting off of it of various diameters and at different angles to the main tunnel. This is where your unfolding of parabolic arch's and whatnot really comes into play. Picture a hip rafter, except instead of it rising in a straight line to a peak, it curls up in an arc right over your head until it hits you in the backside again. Did I mention stupid corner angles of like 28 degrees inside and outside? Oh well thank the squid god for the kss system! The two pin system allows you to cut repeated and dead nuts accurate angles on the inside and outside of an arc super fast and easy. so well in fact it seems like the only effective way to do it at all. I'll see if I can render a facsimile of the set for you guys to check out

We all wish we could see pictures as much as you wish you could show them. Sounds so involved that it is hard to "picture" it without a picture. Hopefully at some point you can post pics, well after the show ends its production run.
I sort of wonder how I kept clients satisfied before getting these more specialized tools. And for such a long time I had no idea there were other tools that I needed.

Awesome...yes, would love to see pics or a rendering of what you are describing. You have one of the coolest jobs!

Currently neck deep on this one. In this clip I did a lot of work on the prison complex and this really awesome cave that you only catch for a few seconds. Yes, I work with batman.

Just sweeping the last floor on suicide squad then guess what? A real world job! $40000 deck and fence. I've not seen the drawings yet but I'm looking forward to some real life work for a change. it's no demonic cave altar like I usually do but will be nice to build something to last more than a year.

Ya I hope it turns out good. We built some cool sets and blew a lot of shit up. I'm still rattling from mini gun fire. Same stunt guys from Fury road. Expect some fighting.

Although I do question his choice of roles, of late, I did like Douglas in The Sentinel.
