Do you have access to cellular pvc? I've used it to replace aluminum fascia, wood trim, and for other decorative purposes on both exterior and interior locations. Its white and should maintain color but it may yellow a bit in the sun over the years-not sure its been around long enough to determine.
Worth a look, if not for this project, down the road.

Well, I am thinking you would either want to disperse the water on a wider surface area to minimize further erosion. You would still require packing it back up with gravel or similar to allow for water to drain out and not carry away earth/soil even with a deck on.
You could build a larger "hard" surface to allow for water to seep out on a larger area and have it take care of the overflow assuming there is somewhere for the water to diffuse out into without just pushing the problem a few meters out.
I don't know what the cheapest good solution would be in your case but paving or concrete might be the ticket unless you have a very large area to fix - but in that case any solution would have to be cost effective.
I am not an "expert" though I have some experience with similar situations.

Put up another MDF wall unit 1200x2400 in the garage on a French cleat. 1/2-way through a smaller floor unit...
The little A10M was getting a work out with the snappy brand drill countersink and conformit screws, The jiggy did some steel beams to ensure the wall was rigid. And the MT55 also dicing 16-mm MDF on and off.

Beavering away at permapine wicking-bed planter-box... some retaining wall (or dividers for the lawn), which are only 4" high... A template out of signboard to test hole placement for a steel "jack stand" for the new 4x4... And soon subwoofer boxes for the 4x4... And dreams of the bathroom cabinette...
So today on the template... the saw did not saw through the 3-mm signboard set in 4-mm. I know it cuts shy so I went to 5-mm... no joy I went to 7-mm... no joy I went to 9-mm... no joy Went to 20 and pushed forward on the release with no trigger for the motor... still ~6-mm plunge... I thought WtF? Noticed (after 15 seconds) that the scoring knob was slide side ways when I put in the box the last time... (An embarrassed fellow would not mention it, but it may help someone else as I was scratching the chins for a minute on it)

But hoeing into it.

Started on the cabinet for the bathroom. Picked up some off-cuts of 16mm (5/8") white particle board. Did a cut list and got 1/2 of it cut.
Will assemble with the Zeta and put in the Blum drawers and then the faces on the drawers. If it all goes well, then I will redo it with the oak veneered MDF as I will know that the cuts are right.
I've got to bust out the welder and make some sinks for it too.

Haus Boss wanted the French doors fixed as they copped a flogging from the sun. Nothing too noteworthy... ( guess I need to fixpgure how to attach a Flickr photo again.)

The government has a scheme to keep businesses afloat and rebates for repairs including carpeting. Cleared out three rooms and a walk in closet, The bedroom got repainted in the original colours we chose circa 2003. Copper on two walls a slate grey suede paint on the other two. The wall on the left will get another coating with "X" shaped brush strokes (like the right hand wall), and "Haus Boss" (HB) will overcoat in a clear to protect it this time... (Some random finger prints, espresso sllatter, etc in 17 years I thought added character, but the detritus was not to HB's liking.) Next is reoil the teak bed and dresser before hauling it back in. i am thinking of using a "Maloof blend" of linseed and slipping in the Tung in a 50:50 ratio unsung fine steel wool. (or should I just use a teak oil??, epiphanes hand rubbed varnish??) So the funner projects (speakers and cabinet) got slipped to the right on the calendar.
