No that is the only difference one being cordless , they both use the same cross cut tracks which is also also used on the MF26cc the cordless batteries are made by bosch and will fit. Bosch 36v tools

An other thing the kss saws are good for is if you are doing facia and soffit and barge boards on a roof is just take the saw up the scaffold and you have an easy way to cut them much easier than trying to get a chopsaw up the scaffold and you are able to cross cut saw up the scaffold

I didn't know about the cross compatibility with Bosch. So that must mean Mafell Manufactures the Bosch?

No they work closely together the bosch plunge saw that people think is the same as mafell is not. Mafell sold the design rights to bosch then. Bosch makes themselves. The. F rails are made by mafell. In return Bosch makes and sells the batteries to mafell for there new cordless tools. At one time a lot of cordless tools batteries where made by panasonic like hilti. Don't know about America but a lot of tool companies are selling naked versions of there tools without batteries

Thanks , the sheeting is tongue and groove chipboard flooring it comes 2400x600. Its nearly what all new houses have UK as you can see from the video how easy the kss system makes the job

Aaron's at it again! More videos from the man! Scoring cut then a full depth pass. For those without a 300/400 this also gives you an idea of how the plunge/depth action works on these guys and good common practice when using a kss rail. Keeping the far end of the rail down during the start of the cut.
Check it out, with Aaron's comments below the vid.
Hi I have done a video of the kss400 using the standard track that comes with cutting 460mm (18") conti board to show the cross cut capacity of just the standard track I think a mt55 version attached to the track with the scoring function would be the perfect tool for this sort of work Aaron

Not a problem, glad to be of help. I thought rather than just doing photos and post them for the site to use, video clips would be more helpful and is a good way go see the tools in work situation.
