older picture. It's now on coil overs and sitting about 6 inches lower. IMG_0445 by Brad Taylor, on Flickr FAWKER, im in the states. Those 61s are still pretty much a wet dream for us at the present time. Altho with the 25 year rule they are starting to pop up. Im part of an all cruiser shop here in the states. Ive actually turned a 60 into a 61 for a fella. I had a cherry 60, same color as your 61. Had a few too many and put a price tag on it, dude showed up with cash the next day. My work vehicle is presently an fzj80 on 35s. As the 4runner got totaled and the t100 blew a head gasket. When it comes to wheeling, ive got a samurai based buggy on 80 series axles. Anyrate, you've got a super cool rig. Definitely jealous

thanks.
sweet. Ya, this rig has a diamond up front and a 80 series rear. intercooled, cable lockers blah blah blah. I should have kept it stock. Bought with 27000km on it with the toyota plastic on the back seats. Oh well. I've got a 42 buggy as well... and a few other junker 60s and 42s.

Im poor, i flipped a semi float 80 rear around and stuck knuckle balls in it. And then i met my wife, and then i became a dad, and i know i dont have enough sense to not push my limits in the rocks, so it sits till theyre a little more grown. Id love to have cable lockers, but the buggy has the old Lincoln lockers in it and the 80 is getting some harrops. We always wish we had left them stock. haha. The buggy sounds sweet as well. Ill try to upload some pics when i figure out how. Again, that's a sweet ride. Thanks for sharing and feel free to share more if youd like

if this is now a 4x4 thread, then I need to add a photo... Where do you get Dana 60 and 70s built? And are there bearings inside the spindle where the outer stub-axel runs through the spindle to the locking hub?

Shoot me a message. But to answer, the wheel bearing are the only earring that the outer sees

Thanks I have a new spindle, and pairs of 4340 ypkon outer axels, the lock outs, and u-joints... so I need to finish the jack stands and then get stuck into it.

Shoot me a message. But to answer, the wheel bearing are the only earring that the outer sees I see there is a needle bearing inside the spindle that the outer axel rotates within, and a seal on the end of the spindle that mates to the outer-C. The other end of the spindle was the locking hub to keep the grease in. if this is now a 4x4 thread, then I need to add a photo... Where do you get Dana 60 and 70s built? This fellow lives ~1 mile away.
