To comment briefly on the website. This is YOUR website. You guys write comment and post on this stuff. It's you guys who sold me on the Erika. Without articles by Aaron, Jonathan and everyone else here I'd still know very little about how amazing this tool is. Now I have a few quick pictures to post...

Alright so I'll comment on my Erika's maiden voyage. Went and snagged a 50mil festool non anti static hose today just to get some dust collection going for the saw. Hooking it up to my CT26. Sorry Jonathan, I only own the one vac as of right now but I certainly read through your detailed posts and comments regarding dust collection for the erika. Two wraps of green painters tape made for a nice snug fit in the y connector to the saw. Set up for the erika is nice and fast. Mind you I'm running pretty much stock at this point. Unfold the legs, attach the fence plug in the dc hoses and attach the blade guard and fence, plug it in the wall and you're all ready to go. Oh ya, the auto leveling foot, BRILLIANT! No reaching down to fiddle with little leveling feet. Just work it with your foot and you've got a rock solid footing. Best design solution for this I've seen. So simple yet works so well. Ok so I only had time to muck around with some scrap 2x so I ripped an inch off of it's width. Nice and clean with the stock blade. Then I set the fence on the left side to do a 45degree miter cut. Dead nuts accurate. My first time using a "pull saw" excited at the versatility! Then while still at 45 I made a wee dado by trenching. F'ing easy. The last pic is of my mini schnauzer "Mustafa" he's the best!     |

I have the multi function fence sitting at the post office all week just waiting for them to deliver it. Canada post is claiming a backlog due to black friday. Which is an American thing so I don't get it. Will get the extension set next I suppose, then the other blades. Still deciding on the slider.
