Let me ask it differently...
The P2 is on the way. I think I only need the ClampeX p10.
(and maybe some Divario using a thicker shelf. Or I do shelf pins with 32-mm spacing)
I also want a fold up shelf (or fold down) on the front- so the Duplex hinges... But are those enclosed or are they flush? Seems like they need to be flush so as to not pinch the material when they hinge...

Clamex for knock down furniture. The divario are great if you are adding a permanent shelf to an already built carcass. Otherwise use tenso as you build, you'll get better glue surface as well. Found out a little more about the preloaded tenso. They're brand new and are meant to take some of the resistance out of first connecting them. It can take some force. Also a set of bisco are needed for dry fitting.

Ergo Clampx and Divario rather than glue. For the furniture my daughter the same idea... Clampx and Invis and the send them 1/2 way around the world.

I asked her ladyship if she had 20 minutes... We went to the garage and I fired up the Zeta on two scraps of melamine'ed MDF. I installed the Clamp-X into the pieces.
Here eyes flickered... and she said, "I have an idea".
Then the next 2 hours were spent drawing up a cabinet for her craft room, and the cutting list.

Duplex hinges are mean to be installed with the standard biscuit cutting plate that I still don't have. I like the idea of them though. super fast way to gain your hinges and have them perfectly line up.

That's what I'm thinking. Only concern is how they operate in terms of play in the actual fitting. Nothing worse than droopy doors. Will have to get some and try them out.

Well we're all ears when you do I am keenly interested too. A couple of weekends ago on a Saturday arvo (afternoon) the Mrs asked me if I could modify an IKEA 4-cube cubby to hold some DVD cases that have papercraft stamps. I thought, lord hear my prayers. Then the power went out and the local shop and the rest of town was shut for 3-3/4 hours. Sunday I said, can you come to garage for 20 minutes. In silence I put together my first ClampX in a scrap of MDF, and handed it to her ladyship. She said I have an idea... So the first project, by mutual agreement was a V-day pressie of said cvase designed for the location. As I recall it took 7-1/2 hours from conception to completion with some drop off at the edge banders. She filled it 10 days ago... And smiled. The picture was from Saturday morning 6 Feb before I attached some brackets so it wouldn't earthquake of the wall.

Expecting my delivery on Tuesday! Any one tried out the duplex hinges yet? I have used the duplex hinges on a project several years ago. Cutting the mortises is very quick and accurate. The big problem I have with these hinges is the oval head screws Lamello includes - they don't allow the hinge to completely close. If they supplied flat head screws, this would fix the problem. Good idea but poor execution.
