While we're on the subject of cordless nail guns; another great one is the Hilti DX460. I love mine, wood or steel to concrete and wood or steel to steel fastenings. We have many of hilti's offerings and they really manufacture quality tools.

I agree with your ideal joinery tool combo. The more I look the more I would like the large Festool 2200 router as well. Anyone know how the bigger Mafell compares? I've had the festool of2200 for a few years and remember weighing options before making a purchase. I really wanted the Mafell but it seemed limited with regards to accessories so I went with the festool. It's an awesome router for larger work. Ergonomics are really good also. I also purchased the accessory kit in a systainer which includes parallel edge guide, guide stop, guide rods, table widener base, template guide base, offset base for guide rail, and template guide bushings. Also purchased my only festool track for routing dados. Anyone would be be very pleased with this tool. I have since purchased the OF1400. I went back and forth and back again between the 1400 and 2200. I have a Bosch router that was having switch problems for the third time and I needed a new router to run 1/2 shank bits. I don't rout the big boy stuff very often and figured if I got more into it I would at that time be justified in buying the 2200. Held it at woodcraft, it's LARGE especially for a hand router. That said, I realize the weight is almost always carried by the work piece. I now have the 1010 & 1400 and like them both a lot.

Being adding some tools from my wish list to in my hand. The other week my paslode im350 decided it wasn't going to work after giving it a clean. So I had to admit defeat and take it in for a service. Whilst I was there I decided to get a new nail gun. I went for the new im360ci. The reason I decided against the im350+ is I didn't feel it was much of a step forward. I was also needing a new laser level for the past couple of years being using someone else's I was thinking of the hilti pd4 as it had laser on the plumb at 90 to each other. I decided against it as it wod be too bulky to carry about in my in my tool belt. I went for one of the tool pouch lasers. The hilti pm2l so that I can carry it about with me all the time, much easier than having to carry different size levels all the time. I also go the receiver with it so I can use outdoors. Then tomorrow I need to go into the saw center in Glasgow where they have my new router, router adapter kit and 1m guide fence extension for the Erika. I have gone for the bad boy lo65. No doubt I will do some video of the new purchases

Got a 60 Gallon Ingersoll-Rand compressor. A Hankinson HIT-20 refrigerant system for the compressor. Lastly a Powermatic PM1800 Bandsaw.
All are new and looking forward to getting them setup. Especially the compressor as I use it with a PPS system and HVLP for finishing. Also have further plans for more pneumatic clamping but will be waiting for that investment. The bandsaw is a beast and is designed primarily for re-sawing. A few more checked off but my list seems to be getting bigger not smaller.

Other then the stress everything has been going well. Even split for a some Vacation time but even that can add to the workload. Seems like the week before and after vacations are miserable.

The power band resaw will be really great for you. Does that come with the automatic feed as well

The power band resaw will be really great for you. Does that come with the automatic feed as well No power feeder but I have a plan to use my shapers power feed. Should be able to easily swing the arm over to the bandsaw depending on how I set it up. My power feeder is one of the few that allow for vertical feeding. Have some great plans for this tool.

It will save a lot on waste material and will gain extra boards on a lot of cuts where you would maybe only get 2 and the 3rd piece would be too thin. All 3 will be of use able thickness

After routing some rebates on Saturday, my interest in the MF-26cc/400 has been renewed! I was building a box beam for the addition I'm working on, 1x6 Oak planks 15' long. I routed a rebate in the bottom of both of the side pieces 1/4" deep x 3/4" wide to index the bottom piece of Oak with my OF1400. Granted, the process went ok, but it took multiple passes and I couldn't help but think that it would have gone a little quicker with the MF-26cc...
Still on the list is the Erika 70, and the Conturo when it hits the North American market....

The MF-26cc is one sweet looking tool for sure. I could see a lot of uses for it and faster/easier than routing.
