Howdy. My name is Brad and I farm in western canada. I found this forum via BTP and came over on MrToolJunkies advice. No mafell yet but I am looking to purchase a saw this fall. We are in the SLOW process of building a house. The land in the bush just got cleared and I am getting soil testing done for our engineered foundation. ( high water table, deep frost line and walk out basement in a hill we are building). The house is going to be all ICF construction with timber frame entrance and deck.
Anywho, Scot had me convinced to get a track saw and I thought the mt55 was the clear winner.....then I started looking at the kss saws and the 400 looks pretty sweet as well.
I own some festool, lots of bosch, and have the bosch fsn OFA 32 with the f rails coming. I hope to only have one rail system and can't wait to make a decision on a saw.

Hey Brad...glad you made it over here! This is an awesome site with all things Mafell. Some real knowledgeable guys here too. I am still debating this myself for which KSS so some of the users here can offer their insight.

I own the KSS-400 and MT-55cc, and I can say that they are both fine machines. The MT-55cc is wonderfully engineered, very accurate with tremendous power, a real pleasure to use when breaking down sheet goods. That being said, the KSS-400 cuts VERY nicely, and is tremendously versatile! If I had to choose one saw, and expect to use it for a variety of tasks, I'd be inclined to go with the 400. If you're going to be exclusively cutting panel goods, then the MT-55cc will serve you very well.

I think this has been asked before but I can't remember an answer. Anyone know if Mafell sells stickers?

Hi, New guy here. A big "Thank-You" to everyone at the Mafell Users Forum. This is a great resource, I've been lurking for a few months and appreciate everyone's contributions.
A bit about me, I'm a finish carpenter and sometime cabinet maker, formerly from the Boston area, now in central NJ. I'm also on the FOG as Knight Woodworks. For some reason the MUF wouldn't let me register under that user name.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
GhostFist-If there's any easy fix that would be great, if not, that's fine as is.
