Technically, anything available on the north American website I can order through my local tool store. I just have to confirm cereal numbers. I'm also not too keen on the made in China thing though, nothing against the Chinese people, I just want to ensure that the people making the products are paid a fair wage and are well treated.

The guts of the charger are potted in (Assuming one can see white on an overexposed picture)... So it looks like it is easier to get the Metabo for 110v. I would not mind an extra 230v charger. The picture shows the drill from Germany. I updated the post to say "Charger".

A little demo of using the little powerhouse to fit kitchen handles with the aid of a very simple jig

Hi guys just wanted to chime on this one. Personally I find the handle on the Mafell A 10 and Metabo PowerMaxx BS Quick 10 way too thick for my liking.
I'm therefore very excited to see Metabo also offers the same drill on the 18V platform.
Just thought I'd share this little find with those who are like me, and don't want more than a single battery platform. At 1.3 Kg, this might become my go-to drill I think.

For me that adds too much bulk. Plus I got big hands so big grips are nice. Good to have options though

I find most in-handle batteries are too big in the grip for my liking.
Seems like the BS 18 Quick kit is one of the few places to get the compact 18v batteries in a kit.
Bonus too is they're very cheap! $169 for the drill + 2 batteries and charger in the US. The kit is worth it for the batteries alone, it drops bout half a pound off when using any tool.
