Mine came with a small and a large. I actually prefer the small PT22 most of the time.

Well I've had the little drill for about a month and I'm still well impressed with it. At work the client got some traditional mortise sash latches about 150mm long. So on Friday I ordered an 18mm auger bit from Axminster tools uk and a henry taylor 1 inch paring chisel as none of my chisel I have will have the length to clean the mortises sides after drilling with the 18mm auger bit. I had a play with the drill bit today and I recon I must of on scrap wood drill enough holes for 2 mortise locks. Using in 1st gear and letting the drill do the work. The little drill on the test run seemed to be coping just fine.

I read somewhere that the 5,2 Ah battery does not fit the latest Metabo and Mafell tools and it is an upgrade for an older model...

The Haus-Boss wanted he ladders put somewhere out of the way. I stroked the beard for a while and then cut some 2x4 scraps , and forstner'ed in some 20-mm holes. Attached these to the rafters and ran a piece of 19-mm tasmanian oak doweling 4' across.
It doesn't mean a lot as the Bosch could have done that, but it sailed through OK. At the end of the day I threw the little battery on the charger as we had used it all week, with the Haus-Boss doing it on the Ikea style assembly earlier.
At least the ladders are now hovering above nestled up against the rafters, rather than against wall.

We're talking on crossed wires here I think - I'm talking about the 10,8v batts, which I'm pretty sure don't fit the 18v :-) ...but I would be pleased if they fit the A10M!

You are correct, 10.8 /= 18.0 I'll take a picture if you want, but the 10.8 have a small power tank 22 and a larger one (forget the numba)

Oh right, sorry - thought you meant the 18v drills. My Metabo 10.8v (current model) came with a 2ah and 4ah battery.

on the current job the client got 6" deep mortise latches I have being using the mafell a10m cordless in drilling them out with an 18mm auger bit and it seems to have more than enough power for the job. Using the 4 amp battery I'm able to get 2 of the latches or locks drilled out. Now with my old hilti 14v I would also only get 2 locks done. So far it seems equal to my old hilti that I had. With rhe advantage of the interchangeable chucks

interchangeable chucks are a godsend. I would use my 18v 5.2ampfor this but it's nice to know the little guy will do it in a pinch

I tried the quick chuck from my cxs and it fits okay, but the Mafell chuck won't fit on the Festool.
