Here’s something else that’s fairly simple to do that I’m often glad I did. ... You sir... Thoust rock. Now that is more elegant than my headlamp. I showed it to the Mrs, and she said she could get new purse to try the concept out on ...

... just a follow up fwiw to my post about magnetic wrist bands... To be fair I purposely picked what appeared to be a mediocre budget version that still had decent velcro and fabric materials since I was going to gut it anyways. They use 4 tiny anemic neo's glued into aluminum 'pans' to give the impression of larger diameter and thickness. Otherwise except for holding a few small screws they are less than impressive. But as far as an inexpensive custom made wrist strap to hold two high gauss bar neo's (supplied by others) they're perfect! (I have a job coming up on ladders where I think this sketchy concept is actually going to be useful, otherwise I might not have bothered).

Hey after you modify these wrist straps they turn out to be legit. I used it for working with doors the other day working on immaculate hardwood floors and to be able to keep multiple drills, countersinks, bits for quick changing, not to mention having a place to store pulled out brads, brad cut offs, screws etc. until I could walk over to trash was actually very handy. I was even keeping a pencil between the velcro instead of falling off my ear. Today I go back to shoot casing and I think I will try keeping some different length nail strips on it. Saves your back. the plastic is a mylar pouch I cut to slip over because screws were tearing up the fabric.

I said to myself - "wow, no hoses, no compressor, no bucket". Will be curious to hear the review.

I once had a Wagner electric kit many years ago until it was nicked. Never really could come to terms with it 'though. I take full responsibility for the poor performance. There's obviously a correct technique to these machines, & possibly an infinite number of incorrect ones, many of which I presumably adopted!

It was an awesome gun. This new Ultra is suppose to be light years better. Nice that it uses DeWalt batteries. There's also an ultra max, for spraying flamables.

I was asked if I would paint some doors I installed. I declined, but now this thing has me seriously re-thinking. What's involved in shooting semi-gloss? do you thin paint first and expect a lower sheen etc. ?
I'd also like to see a larger backpack soft bag reservoir option with a short hose to gun so you don't have to swap/refill so often.

Because the PS2 painted doors beautifully.

It holds 1 quart. The trick is to have at least 4 cups at the ready.

I've been looking at this gun for a while. Interested in your feedback I use it to spray balcony framing, where it's exposed. Here's one I did with the Proshot.
