Maybe they don't want to admit it Yes maybe, and maybe the person on the phone just didn't have the right info... Don't get me wrong: Bosch is a really unique company! 92% of the profit goes to the "Bosch-Stiftung" (foundation) that uses 100% of the money for charitable and cultural projects and cancer research. Don't know any other big company in the world that donates nearly the whole profit (Robert Bosch decided to give his family only 8% of the company after his death). |

That's something all companies should do but how does that work with the shareholders? Or is the Bosch-Stiftung the major shareholder? If all companies would operate that way what a great place the world would be.

If all companies would operate that way what a great place the world would be. Your right, the Bosch-Stiftung holds 92% of the whole company, the Bosch Family only 8%. Bosch is able to reinvest lots of money in research and developement because there are no shareholders who forces them to maximize its profit... If i have to choose between lets say a Siemens or a Bosch washing maschine, i choose the bosch because of the social backround of the company. And if i have to choose between a Bosch and a Mafell, i choose the Mafell  |

I just got the bosch gkt55gce from u.k it's coming in couple days total price 770$ with 2 rail saw and case and connection stuff I'll keep you guys updated on the produxt
