Just seen this on German eBay

It’s a Mafell DGA 900 mitre stop. Looking closely at the pictures, it’s dated 1988. There’s a rebadged equivalent with Altendorf livery on google image search.
My conclusion is that this is a prototype/inspiration for the MFA. It looks snazzy with the protractor markings, but it has no fence fittings for the current rails. Amiright? Anyone used one? Any reason to buy one other than to curate a Mafell museum?
