Good idea, Holmz. I was going to ask here if anyone wanted one, but I got the last of the October batch. Shipping to Aus is bloody expensive.

The tso square for Festool rails looks a great product hopefully he will make one for mafell / Bosch rails in the future I’d be definitely interested . There’s a guy called Frank Cochrane whose essentially doing just that. m.youtube.com/channel/UCGcLPdH7cGaYSIfAJOegTmwThe price is comparable, around £180.00 I’m looking forward to receiving mine. He’s getting about 20 made a month. I can send you his email address by private message, or find the Facebook group Mafell Talk Group, which has a lot of UK banter going on, to which he is a regular contributor. Yuuuuup let me get his email I want one of those.

It’s interesting, there’s a lesson to be learned here. TSO came out with their GRS-16 a while back. But by focusing on the larger market fest/makita/triton and ignoring mafell / bosch (the better rail) they left the door wide open. If they applied themselves & simply created a new CAD file for the CNC there most likely would never have be an FC hybrid. I have to think they were / are a bit too enamored with their, rail bending, clamp and could not see past that. Now, if someone was to consider spending $200 on a rail square they would be silly to not get the one that handles them all if only for the broader resale value & crew adaptability. Frank Cochrane is a ‘natural’ and puts a face to the product. He’s one of the ‘guys’ and that sells too. I really think he’s going to eat TSO’s lunch.

I think peckers sells another square or angle that can be calibrated... - that's actually what I've been really looking for, the holy-grail. Something I can abuse a bit and readjust if needed. I even considered going to a machinist to make one where the registration edges (similar to 'peckers) both pinned at the corner only and at the far end you would turn a captive fine pitch screw to adjust to 90º. You would flip it till you got the results you wanted then tighten set screws. www.woodpeck.com/1281ss.htmlHoly-grail, I wish, seems like forum members and their solutions come closer than larger manufactures and their claims. Still cannot believe I paid 600+ for a cordless drill that chuck wanders...and i almost did it again during a recent sale. My feeling now is most these companies can get you 90%+ there in accuracy and the rest is up to you, peckers is no different to me.

You told me about it, so I skimmed their page but didn’t see it - wtf. Guess I was looking for the word ‘adjustable’ and a larger square. Thanks for the link.
I would have expected rave reviews all over the place. Now realizing that at only 12” the flipped pencil line will be only as accurate as the sanded & flipped aluminum squares I adjust already.
Because I’m trying to solve for large sheet material I think the pecker 26” / 660 Framer and/or the FC Hybrid will be about as far as I going to drill down for now. Both or one of them seem close enough of an answer that I hopefully won’t throw into storage.
