Like the small shadow cut the 40 provides but think the 60 would be an all round better saw. What's the smallest shadow cut that can achieved with the 60?
The waste exhaust seems to stick out a bit so it's hard to tell how close you. An get the saw to the workpiece

None of 'em are much "chop" at in situ shadow gap cutting. All have their exhaust duct moulding intruding into their flat side. You'll need to look elsewhere; the Festo/ol range or Metabo's KSE 55 Vario (18 mm offset) for anything even approaching a flush cutting Saw.

The 40 is advertised as being able to do a 13mm shadow cut as the exhaust is flat to guard surface, but the 60 is not, but couldn't find how much it deviated from guard surface.
