I need a small sander that can work as a polisher as well.
I was thinking on the festool RO90, but I think it is too expensive for what I will use it. I am planning to use with Abranet and use it as a small polisher.
I also found the griot 3", but it is just a polisher. I can live with that and use my Mirka Ceros and Rotex 125 and polish with the griot.

I bought it to sand out scooped chair seats, (This was long before the RO90 existed) but found that it has many uses. Great for sanding face and cabinet door frames. It's light weight, handles well and has a pretty "free random" orbit. it's most likely not as powerful as the RO90, but for it's size it's a capable sander. www.highlandwoodworking.com/metabocompactrandomorbitsander.aspx

I think I will give it a try. I don't want to pay a fortune for a sander that it won't be use too often.

The RO90 is the better sander, but the Metabo is a nice little tool.

That Metabo is a good price.
