$500 and something in taxes anyways. Lowes is having a 2 day thing where they take 10% off your order if you have an "mylowes" account on their website, it seems to stack with the 10% coupons (Do some creative searching to find out how you can get one of those...) which I found will knock off about 60+less than 55 off it. Seems to be around like $530 +/- something with California taxes for me.

I realize this is an old thread. But wasn't there a Metabo dust extractor that turned on with vibration? I thought I read somewhere about that.

Yet to be released: supposedly in 2017, but don't hold your breath.
There were 2 models shown @ Ligna. One running on 2 x 18v in a similar format to the Starmix 35l family, the other a maybe better resolved rectangular box type (systainer-ish?) that may actually be an AC/DC multivolt model.

Pretty sure this shows the vacuum your talking about. It’s been produced along with a 2x18v tablesaw. Slated for release in 2018 🙌🏻

That dust extraction was impressive not that impressive. o saw dust spewing out all over the place in front of the saw. a dust port on the shroud of the blade might help. i know i see huge improvement on my Erika when i use the blade guard hooked up to a vacuum

I've had the mains version of this table Saw for some years now. There's dual extraction hoses from both the blade guard (upper) & lower discharge chutes, which collect into a lower coupling for direct machine extraction.
The battery version, with its onboard cyclone & dustbag must be plumbed slightly differently, but could presumably be retrofitted with the mains version's machine extraction hardware. As with any dustbag equipped tool net extraction will always be compromised. My mains version's extraction is by contrast quite effective.

Well I rang Metabo Australia today and even though it's listed on their website the tablesaw won't be available until December or January.
