It was on UK eBay for almost 3 months before I bought it. The seller wanted £1700 GBP. I guess Mafell doesn't have the brand recongition here that it has elsewhere. There were no takers. I made a low offer, followed by one more agreeable to the seller. It was mine for £1500. I picked it up last night.
The first thing that struck me was how big it looked. I mentioned this, and the seller told me that it was why he was selling it. He had bought an Erika 60. All of his work was onsite, and he could carry the 60 around easily. Perhaps he had a 110V version too, I didn't ask. I could carry it fairly easily, although at my first attempts it was awkward. The blade guard either stuck into my chest or groin. I was pleased though. I hadn't seen one in real-life before, and it looked robust and substantial.
The MFA is easy to work out, as are the controls. I made a trial rip cut when I got home. I will do more when I've sourced a hose adapter. It's the right size for my 200ft2 shop. The weight means I can work outdoors when I need more space.

Congrats on your new-to-you table saw. The blade guard is easy to remove for transport.
