Hi, why is the Mafell plunge saw blades 162mm? I noticed some chipping on a work top I cut on front bottom edge so I wanted to buy the 56 tooth blade but the size is different to the 48 t one that comes with the saw. Does that mean the debth setting will be out by 2mm ?

The 0 can be adjusted to take care of the 2mm difference

I suppose you could add color coded sets of arrows for the different diameters of blades you switch between. Took some self adhesive thin white plastic and cut a reminder marker just now for a 160. If you think you need one you could also do something more permanent with thin wire, metal etc. (doesn't interfere with stock indicator rotation).

First off - Hi Sil. And Welcome.
That should have been the first thing I said. I can't stand people who think they are some kind of forum police for newcomers anywhere on the net. I'm something of a newcomer myself here and was simply curious how this ended up in Classifieds.
As a new owner I'm still using the stock blade and waiting on some Tenryu 160 blades, that they keep messing up the shipping on.
Stock scoring function is approx 3mm. So subtract 1MM from that depth for the radius difference between a 162 & 160 and your score should be 2mm deep, unless I'm missing something on how the saw sets depth. But if you don't mind giving up the ease of flicking the scoring stop you can always set the plunge rule to a desired score depth.
