Which drill bits can you recommend for what purpose: Augers: no. 1 for wood, but not so good for plywood. Fisch Auger w/ hex shank: good quality drill bits that are compatible with Ft centrotec chuck. 235mm in lenght, 8-20mm @ Axminsters in 2 mm steps, possibly even larger sizes. Makita Auger bits w/ hex shank: not as clean holes as the Fisch, cheaper. Haven't broken one, yet, so: good quality as well, maybe not as sharp as the Fisch. Quite good for plywood, less delaminating. Famag Auger bits w/ hex shank: as good as the Fisch. Available lenght: 235- 1000mm in a variety of diameters. Somewhat Cheaper than the Fisch, at least where i buy. They have different ranges, one for tropical hardwoods. Onishi, made in Vietnam: really good quality, very nice finish. Bought a set 320mm , 8-20mm for the BST and i wish i would have gone with the 460mm version. Nicest finish of the lot. Remains to be seen how long they'll stay sharp.
Brad-point bits: Bosch Pro-something, grey case: nothing to complain. Nothing to write home about, either. Festool 2 sizes: stubby and non-stubby, the best and most expensive brads i own. Only used on special occasions like brain surgery. Excellent bits. Oh, yeah: centrotec compatible.. Irwin, hex shank : junk. Blunt after some holes in oak.

Forstner bits Festool/ZOBO hex shank: the best Forstner drill i've ever used. The only Forstner i've ever used where i remember the name. Centrotec- compatible: aye. Soft spot: predrill bit. Killed two: expensive, that... But very good drills.
Spade bits Bosch spade bits. They do drill holes. But the holes are not nice. Irwin: s.a.
