Shame on you! You had me all excited with the title of your thread. Here I was, imagination all full of conjecture about exactly what the new Mafell jigsaw might be....
An 18v cordless P1 cc perhaps? Or (even better) maybe some sort of bow-handled version that would be as useful & well designed as the old one was.
Instead we're talking about bloody systainers. What a gyp!
Seriously 'though, you'll probably only get the old systainers now as "new old stock", which should be selling at a fairly substantial discount. It's probably safest to ask or confirm your choice of plastic box before placing your order.

IMO (and I realise I may not be popular for saying this! LOL) jigsaws are really for cutting in between awkward start & stop positions, or for cutting curves. For truly straight cuts, a rail doesn't make much sense with a jigsaw - even one as capable as the P1CC. Far better to employ an MT55CC for that kind of work.
Anyway...... since this thread specifically discusses the P1CC in relation to systainers, I have a couple of sizing-related Qs, if I may:
1) Can anyone confirm exactly which size of T-Loc systainer the P1CC is now supplied with? I'm guessing it's a standard Systainer 2, but would appreciate accurate confirmation.
FTR, standard systainers are (externally) sized as follows:
SYS 1: (L x W x H) 396 x 296 x 105 mm SYS 2: (L x W x H) 396 x 296 x 158 mm SYS 3: (L x W x H) 396 x 296 x 210 mm SYS 4: (L x W x H) 396 x 296 x 315 mm (e.g. MT55CC, iirc) SYS 5: (L x W x H) 396 x 296 x 420 mm
SYS 1: (L x W x H) 383 x 273 x 75 mm SYS 2: (L x W x H) 383 x 267 x 127-5 mm SYS 3: (L x W x H) 396 x 296 x 217 mm SYS 4: (L x W x H) 382 x 266 x 285 mm SYS 5: (L x W x H) 381 x 265 x 384 mm
2) Additionally, can you tell me what the WIDEST measurement of the P1CC itself is, please? Generally, the widest part of a jigsaw tends to be the base. My Bosch GST 150 BCE is about 85mm at the base, and therefore cannot squeeze into a SYS 1 (75mm internal height). That's a PITA because whenever I work, it's 95% in people's homes, which means I need to be as compact and mobile as possible, and having to jump to a SYS 2 instead of a SYS 1 means my already-tall stack is 2 inches taller than I'd like. 2 inches might not sound much, but when you have 6 or 7 powertools, it quickly adds up if each systainer is 2 inches taller and 7 x 2 = 14 inches.
You get the picture
I really wish Festool / Tanos would introduce a SYS 1.5 - I firmly believe they would sell like hotcakes - perhaps even eclipsing combined sales of SYS 1 & SYS 2!
Thanks for your assistance with a tape measure / verniers

The MT55 is a great saw - but can't do everything. Not often, but sometimes I run the P1CC down a rail for a straight cut I can't do on the MT55.
The P1CC comes in a T-Loc sys 1. The Sys 1.5 does technically exist - it's called the Sys 2!... the rest go up by 105mm. :-)
The internal height of a Sys 1 is 75mm as a minimum, that being the back which has the handle recess in the lid - the front half is deeper. At a guess, I would say the P1CC base is around 80mm, it being in the front half - but I could be wrong.
jimmyford: Can anyone mill a corian piece that will fit into the mafell rail for use with the mft3?

bengt: Oh please the ks60 is better in every way. 60 degree miter in both directions. Bevels past 45(essential in a saw that must cut on the flat) Bigger blade more capacity. The Metabo hpt has 57 degree miter max and 45 bevel max.

abdon: I stand corrected , the angle fence is only attaches with F -Tracks , what confused me was , that the Timberwolf site mentioned it will work with the NFU machine, yes it will work but only I guess when you use the Ftrack , with other tracks Like the KSS L.

glynnco: Did you order from GereedschapPro? I see them as in stock but I'm located in the US and am not sure if they ship here. I sent them an email asking about shipping but it was returned undeliverable...

jonathan: I've purchased a lot of stuff from our neighbours @ GereedschapPro.nl As far as I know they are one of the larger Mafell dealers in the EU. I can recommend them, they usually respond quickly.
