Hi all.... I'm new to the forum, but not to mafell. I purchased my 55 back in 1990. I thought I had lost my mind paying what I did for a table saw! But was intrigued with the push pull concept. Her it is 27 yrs later and it finally have up on me. Well, let me back up a Bit. Last year, after it started to cut out on me, I purchased from timberwolf ( yes I'm from USA) a tachometer, a computer module, brushes and brush holders. I had an alternator, starter rebuilder install the brushes and while he had it on the bench, re trued the armature. Sad to say, he used a wrong screw to install the tach and after several cuts, it walked out, and burned through the computer module housing and she started a smokin! Does anyone know of I can eliminate the computer module? Timberwolf has been great through this whole process, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to replace it just yet. Especially if in doing so turns this old girl into an ornament in my shop.
Thanks everyone in advance

So here is a follow up. Timberwolf sent another computer module plus a new tach and holding screw. I lock tired the screw this time just to add some insurance. I've run her several times. Seems like a new saw pics to come

I think it was P7 PSP serial number in the low 19000. 3 or 4 clips. light weight spring and rubber/elastomer peice for the slide to band against. 88 Speer hp at the low end of major with 6 (or maybe 6.5) GR of Winchester 231. It was good for plates.
