Hope it's not frowned upon to mention this, but we do carry Grex and have the GC1850 in stock.

Oh, my experience has been under the red cast, options and discussions are wide open. Wait a minute, maybe I should put that another way. I'm talking about brands of carpentry tools. In this forum.

still using the hell out of it, was nailing oak with 2" pins just today. I'm still very happy with it. I guess i forgot to get back to this thread for a review. Apparently I got a defective one:( I had a ridiculously difficult time getting the cartridge to seal properly. I think there was a problem in the fuel door casting possibly. Once I got it seated and the door locked( i did review the manual and did as instructed) it worked flawlessly. But i want through 5 or six fuel cartridges due to leaking while loading or while it was stored in the case - maybe 500 nails shot. Good thing is Grex has good customer service. I emailed them directly and had a return shipping label mailed to me and a promise to make it right AND replace my fuel cartridges. I actually just sent it last week as it sat in my shop for a couple months after it was initially purchased. Keep you posted.

I had a coworker purchase one that was a dud out of the box. Customer service drove him a new one to his door, as in a service rep not a courier. Mine is going strong as ever. Shame you had a dud too.

Shame you had a dud too. Got an email from Grex tonight. They replaced part of the fueling system and the gun is on the way back. They also sent a 4 pack of fuel cartridges. I realized when I shipped it that I had somehow lost the no mar tip in my limited use. I followed up with an email thanking them and inquiring where i can get them. The reply was - It's already been replaced. Nice. Quality customer service:)

Works flawless. It's a winner.

Sounds like quality is uneven on this nail gun.

I think that during the products initial soft launch they were still working out some bugs. As I understand, after a conversation with the local grex rep yesterday, any kinks should be worked out and they are planning to release their 23g version in the new year. Mine is still running strong and I very much enjoy using it. That being said, I'm writing this on an explosive Samsung note 7, but that's another story.

Well, winters coming and you never know when you might get stranded in a cold place, so the 7 may come in handy.

the cartridges supposedly don't expire. supposed to be good for some 1300 shots per cartridge. Also low odour
