Anyone with this extension able to give me dimensions and perhaps some detailed photographs? I'm curious to see if festool's cms router insert can be rigged to fit as the extension table instead. reason being, I use festool routers, and would like a compatible lift mechanism.

Have the 85 Ec extension tables ,can take some photos but the overall length will not work with the Erika 70 .

Looking at the dimensions for the cms inserts, it looks like the dimensions at the end of the erika aren't that far away.

hmm these photos just lead me to more questions. Are the extrusions surrounding the plate removeable? How is the mafell routers attached to this plate? via the predrilled holes visible on either side of the large central hole? what is the spacing on these? I was also unaware that there were stiffening ribs on the bottom of this plate.

The pre drilled holes only work for the mafell routers on the festool the holes are in the wrong place to work direct with it

I was also unaware that there were stiffening ribs on the bottom of this plate. The extrusions on the short end are removable ,they are not spare parts from Mafell service catalog . Yes , on the pre drilled holes for the router attachment .The spacing is spot on at 100mm. The extension tables are quite stiff and well made "typical Mafell quality". Many options for the CMS attachment to the Erika ,none cheap !

Maybe a plywood plate would suit you if you well willing to give up some depth for cost savings.
