Trying to decide between buying Mafell MT55 or Mafell KSS60 Cross Cutting System 110V. Anyone know if the Mafell KSS60 would work with the flexi guide rail?

for straight cross cuts it should. The flex rail is best suited for the 40/300 though. Again you have the bevel geometry to consider. All saws can use the f rails for straight cuts. The smaller saws will cut into the f rail when beveling as they're meant to do this only on the flex or kss rails, which are thinner than standard kss rails or the flex guide. The flex rail is meant to be rolled up and stuffed in the box for the 40/300 when not in use and that's the only benefit, compact portability. As far as I know it wont fit into a box with any other saw.

An IMO since I have the MT55cc and also want the KSS60 and KSS80 as well...
MT55cc + Undisputed sheet goods king Scoring cut feature (Run it in reverse if you want clean cuts on both sides) Unrivaled dust collection (Especially with the dust collection piece deployed) Super fast blade change, I don't think there's any tracksaw out there that has a faster blade change setup and that includes all of Festool's stuff. No riving knife means you can run really crazy blades that you hypothetically couldn't in a saw that needs like (Super thin kerf, smaller diameter than intended design and super thin kerf...) Good dust collection when plunging You can adjust how much play there is when you're using the tracks (I am not sure if the KSS saws let you do this on the non KSS rail and/or if the KSS rail is wiggle free when paired with their respective saw) Single knob to lock bevel and locks at both points (This is in regards to other tracksaws, the KSS saws have interesting bevel locking capabilities)
MT55cc - Freehand cuts are a big mental no No second handle, your other hand is either doing "nothing" or you're pushing against the baseplate (Depends on your position relative to the saw/what you're cutting) Iffy for ripping dimensional lumber unless you're dealing with wide pieces (Need enough for the track to sit on) unless you're using a jig Not really for crosscutting dimensional lumber (Again, jig like a MFT style setup) and then you really want the crosscut attachment for the rails. Unless you're just plunging into 2x4s and then you push forward to finish the cut. I think you could hypothetically get away with using the crosscut extension and a rail cut in half and attached to the crosscut attachment but you're not approaching the ease of the KSS saws
You can sort of use them interchangeably but the KSS60 will always be better for crosscutting and you can always build jigs for either saw and use the standard rails if you need them in a crosscut station or something. It depends on what you intend on working with more.

Thanks for the input lads , looks like Id be best off buying both the KSS60 and the MT55 then and keeping them for their intended uses,
