Hi everyone,
Just saw this forum but can't remember where, probably on FOG but I think a member named Jalvis mentioned this forum.
A few words about me.
I'm french, I live and work in Paris and turning 42 next week and for my anticipated bday, I decided to go for a P1cc.
Since English isn't my mother tongue, I hope I will not make too many mistakes and my writing will be understandable.
I've been eyeing the Carvex on battery but I've asked myself if I would really need the cordless feature. Was considering the Trion too since I thought it would be a bit better than the Carvex.
Then I remembered Mafell. Ahhh Mafell.
Festool has (too) many jigsaw to choose from. Mafell has one only so the choice was much easier !
I'm now the proud owner of a P1cc I got from Dictum Germany. They had an amazing offer: 550€ for the P1 + tilt base + 2 extra cunex blades. Delivery included. Couldn't resist.
Hope I will find lots if useful infos here.
Cheers boys.

Hemdale, you're in for a treat. This saw is amazing! There's a lot of power in it, so a little bit of a learning curve. Make sure your workpiece is secure and you're have a firm grip on the saw to keep it from jumping. Let the blades do their job and don't ram them through material faster than they are cutting. I know that's basic jigsaw stuff, but it's important with the p1cc. You're set to be amazed! Let us know about any questions

Welcome, it's a great saw and this place is a valuable resource for all things Mafell.

Thanks guys. Will let you know how things go. So far, I love how the pendulum feature activates itself when touching the workpiece. Still trying to understand how the plastic adaptor ( not the one connected to the hose) works.

It's there to direct dust away from you if not using the hose. You can insert it in the base in two positions depending on if you are using the saw above the work piece or below. Check out this vid
