Hi there!
This is a question that I'm 99.9% sure know the answer to, but need confirmation as I'm having some difficulties!
I'm trying to remove the cutter from a 2nd hand LNF20 that I recently bought - the teeth on the blade are all chewed up - but I can't for the life of me get the flange nut off.
Given that the blade spins anti-clockwise (when looking at it from the bottom), I assume that to remove the nut it has to be turned clockwise. If I'm wrong please let me know!
I've tried hitting the pronged spanner with a block of wood, tapping the nut all over and have applied WD40 to it several times, but to no effect.
If anyone has any other tips on how to remove this blasted nut I'd be very grateful to hear them.
Many thanks,
Sebastian.

Hello Sebastian, welcome to the forum. Pretty sure you're going the wrong way. Lincoln. Thanks for the reply, but if the nut loosens in the same direction as the cutter spins wouldn't that mean that the cutter would work the nut loose when in operation?

The nut always goes on the opposite direction the blade spins so that it tightens when in use

I am humbled by my own stupidity.
Thanks for the advice, the nut is now back on with a new blade in the machine ready to go.
