My kss80 sits in a makita bag with space for the guides and a spare blade or two. Will grab a photo and dimensions tomorrow for you Red.

I ordered my KSS 80. Are we sure the Tanos/Systainer boxes don't fit the saw? Most of my containers are Systainer so it would be nice to have them match and lock together. Thanks Yes, my congratulations to you as well, Checkmax. I've been using our KSS80Ec/370 quite regularly -- including earlier today -- and my mouth hurts from all the smiling.

You can use a Sortimo box for it -- a Bosch L-Boxx 4 will fit and that is what I use.

Very nice solution, Matt in the UK! We own a cube-shaped soft case that's similar to the one in your photos, but I think it was intended for batteries. In other words, it's cube-shaped, but it isn't as big as yours. Where did you buy it, my friend?

Hi Red, I got it from my local dealer when collecting the saw. Would you like me to see if there are any left? I could give them a call tomorrow.
As the other gents have said the Bosch box also works.
Cheers Matt

Please check into where I might be able to get the large Makita case, and kindly let me know.
Thank you very much, Red P.S. We've invested in a lot of Makita tools -- including their fine TF tools -- so I am a bit partial to the brand.

I got started with Makita and believe it to be good bang for buck. The one I am enjoying most at the moment is: Makita Compact and fast impact driverVery compact for 175nm from a length of just 119 mm Red, I shall call the gents in the morrow and see if they have any left, and if no stock is available I shall try to find out what tool originally occupied it. Have a great day. Best regards Matt

It's funny, but I bought that very same Made In Japan impact driver a while back...and, yes, it is very sweet indeed.
I'd be very grateful for nay any news on the large Makita soft case.
Have a good one, Red

Looks like the crates we used to get our 0.5L bottles of unpasteurized beer in when I was in Germany -- after a weekend, that is.
