No disrespect to Peter, as I've learned a few things from his videos, but I can't take his claim of "independent and not on any payroll" seriously, nor any of his opinions. It's pretty clear he leans really hard on Festool to supply products to drive his viewership, and thus will not (and never has) criticized any Festool product. Not even "I wish this was better", just blowing flowers and kisses towards Festool, always.
Anyways, HK saw looks neat, that grooving tool looks like an afterthought and a pain to use though, and I'm sure quite expensive to add on. I guess it would be fine/fun for the hobbyist, but any regular use and you'd want to pickup the actual tool... I guess they had to compete with the MF26cc though?

Yeah, definitely no disrespect, but that are more like promotional videos than review videos.

Was really talking about his other review vids, not this one. I should have watched it before commenting.

Are you buying this saw mick ? Has plenty of cut capacity , might be a little heavy for plowing dado and rebates on finish grade plywood or MDF .

Hi Joe No I was not looking to buy it I just came across the video and had not seen the saw before taught it was interesting. I don't have any Festool tools except a vac I have 5 mafell tracks so wouldn't really want to have two different types of track.
