I am looking at adding some protective sleeving on my various hoses. I am finding it's just the first 2m or so that really get chewed up. It would also be nice to hold the power cord as well. I am looking at this product: www.cableorganizer.com/gorilla-braid/?gcssku=MSGS125Anyone have any experience with it? I will get heat shrink to secure it. Thanks

I just bought some TechFlex PET from WireCare. They were the only ones who had it in the color I (thought I) wanted; I was trying to match the red on the anti-static Starmix hose.
Note the neon red is more neon pink, haha. :/
I shied away from the nylon stuff, the TechFlex is 10 mil polyethylene terepthalate, which is basically like a thick plastic bag, but in round fibers and bundled, then woven. The PETE itself should glide a little better on rough surfaces than nylon in theory, though the larger flat fibers on the nylon might be better.
I got some 2:1 heatshrink as well, to secure the ends.

I put on a "candy cane" coloured cover today. 25 feet and had about 7-8 left over. The cord is inside the cover.
Then heat shrink on the ends.
