Cool. Looks like an old building and made for some work.
All my work is done off the drafting table by hand. Been considering the digital world but haven't jump in enough to be competent.

This is maybe 100 years old 3 Bed house with market value over £600.00, the contractor for who I made that stairs are making loft conversion (very common practice in London to get more space for family) I have various contractors for who I make stairs, mostly make a standard Softwood/Mdf stairs for carpet covering, usually contractor carpenter (probably Wrightwoodwork will do that kind of work) do balustrade and finishing work. Balustrade and stairs are in most cases painted and treads are carpeted. this is not very adventures work but pays for bills and rent. Before sketchup I've make drawing same way as you, but it take a lot of time so start for looking a way to improve and speed up preparation process, and end up with sketchup, it worth to spent more time watching tutorials on you tube to save time in future work also during designing i solve most technical issues before work commence.there is another benefit of Sketchup Make is free! I was looking for professional stair building program but cost huge amount of money. Sketchup extension allows to produce cut list with press of button. I have to tell that my sketchup skills are basic but with my carpentry/joinery knowledge I've made what you see.
