I just installed a new 250mm Tenryu 80T blade on my Erika 85. Man, that blade is smooth. It has a slightly wider kerf than the Mafell blades. Makes me want to try some of their other blades that would fit as well. I had a good experience dealing with Carbide Processors too. It seems like they have decent prices and lots of rebate coupons.

Gonna snag a tenryu aluminum blade made for festools ts75 for my Erika 70 I lose just over a centimeter in depth but I don't bloody need it for aluminum. The rest of the specs are spot on

I get all my blades from Carbide Processors. They send me candy with my orders!

When did Tenryu enter the US market? I’ve been aware of them for about 3 years. I own one for my miter saw and I think it is a very high quality blade. I’ve used Forrest for years and like/respect their products. My local vendor of Forrest is no longer is business. I am thinking seriously about making the move to Tenryu. Anyone have any thought on Forrest vs Tenryu? I believe the Tenryu also offers most of its comparable blades at less cost than Forrest.
