Are you looking for large scale construction such as timber framing or more furniture based woodwork. I've been buying a lot of the lost art press stuff. It's mostly hand tool furniture stuff, but I enjoy reading it and I find it helps with visualizing different methods of work (my work is mainly power tool based or hybrid power/hand tools). In film, the main source of my income right now, we are often reproducing furniture and building elements from different time periods and regions, so these books help. I'm also slow getting through "A Timber Framers Workshop" and "Advanced Timber Framing" both by Steve Chapelle. I purchased them through Lee Valley here but I'm sure you could find them online if you're interested. Just so you know I'm not a timber framer just lookingto learn, and those two books seemed like a good base.

I just ordered a couple books on shaker furniture from amazon. I buy them used and usually only $5-$10. I have lots of these kinds for different furniture:
Shop Drawings Of Shaker Furniture And Woodenware by Ejner Nadberg
How to Build Shaker Furniture by Tom Moser
Making Authentic Shaker Furniture: With Measured Drawings of Museum Classics by John G. Shea
The two books I go back to often:
Illustrated Cabinetmaking: How to Design and Construct Furniture That Works by Bill Hylton
Woodworking with the Router: Professional Router Techniques and Jigs Any Woodworker Can Use by Bill Hylton
