Figured I'd start working on a live edge table while waiting on a few misc. workbench accessories to arrive. This is spalted sycamore. The tree was given to me by a friend. I cut slabs with my Alaskan saw mill and my Stihl MS441, straightlined with my KSP 85, then glued the top up with 4-16x75mm dowels using the DD40P. Turning out great so far.

That spalted sycamore is amazing. Same stuff you used in the gun cabinet. Whats the plan for the base?

I always liked the Trestle option with wedged stretcher for a base.

That's a beautiful slab. Don't think I've ever seen sycamore milled before. Did a quick google and it turns out sycamore is used commercially, who knew? Thanks, ya learn something new everyday. Think I'll see if the local mill has any. Please post pics of the finished product as well.
