I started with the MKS 130 when I took on my first project involving timber framing. I recently added the Z5 bandsaw, the ZXS chain beam saw and the MKS 400. I think the MKS 80 is in my future and likely a 2nd MKS 400 for the 2 guys that make up my crew.

Yeah. Love you timber framing guys.
MT55 and two 160 rails, connector, and clamps(added a full set since then). Second the DD40 with short and long rail. Next purchase will by the KSS 300.

Not sure I would classify myself as a timber framer. We do new homes and cottages as well as extensive renovations/additions often starting from clearing the site, the concrete work and through to the interior finishing and the cabinetry. It's very rewarding to leave a project having done virtually everything. With just the 3 of us. My background is standard stick framing but the last 4 years have seen an increase in timber work. Most of it is fairly basic in terms of joinery, not the elaborate joinery but still requires working the timbers. I hope to get more challenging projects in the future.

Very good any experience shared with tools is good regardless of it being fancy timber framing or just basic stuff

My intention is to get the MT55 and the KSS400 at the same time. Along with the 1.1 rail and F-WA. Both as an excuse for my house build.
I wish I would have known about the P1cc before my latest jigsaw purchase.
I can see the KSS300 coming shortly after.
Just a great system.

Good idea to try and get both as I think the KSS400 would be better for your construction work and the MT for the cabinets.

Congrats, Brad. Interested in knowing what is back-ordered since you are not supposed to get it for over a month.

It's the roller guide for the MF-26cc that fits the MT55 and KSS400. Needs to come from germany and should take a couple weeks.

Yeah - I am likely going to pick one up...I just did not want to wait for it to arrive and so opted for the shipment first. My saw just arrived today -- it is a thing of beauty and a marvel of engineering. Super excited.
