Guys,
I got confused trying to remove a cylinder head screw but I set to reverse mode on my impact driver but realised it was meant to tighten it. By then, it was a bit too late, the head screw has been stripped. I even tried to use a hex allen key, and I rotated it to the right and the saw moved at the same time but I held a button beneath the saw cover to stop the saw while trying to turn it to right with that key but it came loosely.
I have contacted Mafell via vendor for this issue. I will buy a spare part.
I don't know if it is necessary to use a screw extractor but which one is the right tool to do that.
TIA.

Yes, it is called a cylinder head screw, accoridng to the exploded view data from Mafell.
I found something and it is called vamplier which is similar to extractor screw. I am still waiting to hear from them regarding this problem. Never heard of Vamplier before. Didnt know they were a thing!

You really shouldn't be using an impact driver on this...
Easiest way to remove it is to file each side flat and use a normal spanner or adjustable wrench on it.

Vamplier are rebadged engineer (japan), have quite a few including small and larger screw extractors. Knipex twin grip are also very good for screw and anything extraction.

I have poor wrist, that's why I can't use hex allen key. I just got confused about instructional illustration on the black cover.
Mafell have sent the spare parts via the vendor. I will wait for them, so I will keep cutting them since the saw is tightened. Hopefully it will start to loosen a bit when that parts arrive.
I will try to use a Vanmplier (Brute and Jawz) to remove the damaged screw. This time, just turn to the right. I will try Knipex if Vamplier failed.

I have poor wrist, that's why I can't use hex allen key. Sorry to hear that... there are other tools that might help for adding leverage or increasing applied force, but an impact is not the right tool for doing this.

Would your wrist be able to withstand using a ratchet? A hex driver would apply a lot more torque with far less effort especially if it was a longer ratchet i.e 3/8 hex socketsLast best tool on youtube recently did a video on screw extractors:

I have Vampliers which just arrived today. They are Brute and Jawz but firstly I saw something on my facebook feedback, there were two allen keys which one is large and the other one is small, putting them together into the the nut, then hammer them a bit to secure it before turning. I will ask someone to help me out for this but I am still waiting for the replacement parts which is on the way to Australia from UK. Free of charge from Mafell and Trade Counter online. Great service on the Vendor's part helping me out by reaching out to Mafell.
