I have for a while been meaning to post this. This is my poor man's longopak bagger (otionally called "ShortoPak" because it's just one bag). Makes changing out dust bags a lot nicer and cleaner. Dust collection is excellent, and cleanup makes it nicer. Need to put it on a cart with the vacuum, as when it's empty, it has a propensity to tip over, but it's a significant improvement.
I used a metal 5 gallon pail with a quick clamp, cut a hole in it to attach the Dust Deputy.
I added a standard toilet flange to the base of the lid to attach a bag to it, like a longopak.
Then I added a bulkhead with a valve and hose to the vacuum to hold the bag out against the walls (if you're vacuuming light dust, a veeeeeeeery slow leak from the lid will eventually end up with the bag inverted in your vortex, and that's not helping anyone.
Not too hard to put together, and worth the time spent not having to vacuum the dust I just put in the bag again after putting a new one in...

Very noice! 🏆👍. Thanks for posting 🍻
Not sure about the need for valve, also, good to know, that small vortex does the job as efficiently, as my monstrosity and... I presume it's better than any other ready made solutions available?
As for tipping over... my "Alvy'nshtein" being conversion from old vacuum ("hoover") - Wax® is only half reasonable for tipping over (TRAGEDY, when it happens - all debris goes in to the bag 😁). If I'd be making one again, I'd try to source something even wider feet spaced apart... like janitor bucket perhaps? Or even make one out of heavy stainless rubbish bin, cutting the height in half and screwing some legs on the side.

The valve makes it so I can take hose off and dump right into bin (like if I'm going to catch nails or sharp debris that might wreck the bags). Just ground an 8'x45' wall, 5 bags of dust, and maybe 2" in the vacuum. Very surprised with how efficient it was.
The vortex was made by others (dust deputy). They sell a longopak equipped version, but it's $900. This was $100 ($65 for vortex, $35 for metal buckets, and a valve and flange I had on hand) plus hr to build. And being it's a metal pail, I had zero static.

the container (for clipping on), who's making that? I mean no brands, just the form factor?

The container is just a metal 5 gallon bucket with a quick clamp band. I got mine at ULine. BucketLid
