I'm currently looking for a dust extractor. US 120 volt
Is there a problem of too much current draw when including the draw of an extractor on certain tools? Say the MT55 at 13.5 amps plus the extractor. Seems you would be starving the saw which is not good for it. Especially on our 120 volt 20 amp circuits.
Thoughts welcome. Tim

I use my KSS60 and MT55 hooked up to my vac on 15 and 20 amp circuits, and rarely trip. Sometimes I notice slightly lower power, but they work just fine.
13.5A is the full load draw. For most cuts, unless you're pushing too hard, you'll see 4.5-7 typically.

Yes and no in UK construction sites are 110v 16A and having MT55 1300w + auto-take off hoover(shop-vac , extractor etc) +1200W it works fine...'ish, I personally steal 30A (110v) big sockets with straight plug for 16A tools as when Routing (1850W) that becomes really noticeable. Underpowered tools burn brushes, can burn the motors (yeah- I know- from too little juice), but autotake-off works just fine on almost any of the loads, it's brushed tool motors that suffer the most
