Well the hose would be for existing RO. the Mirka handblck is like 30-40€ so I would get a yellow one from Finland before I got a copy Their hose For the vacuum is also 10-20€ so way save a peso and take a risk? Did you buy the planer with pesos? because it´s euros here The guy from Finland should be as busy as the guy from the Mafell shop here... no answer. No online shop? Pesos... Yeah, I have been to espania a few times. You will save more buying the screens for the hand pads or DEOS by the roll... and the hand pad and DEOS take the same width screen. The RO is better for larger flat surfaces. and their hose is very good and for the price, it is a value.

I don´t think you mean that

Found a Deros kit in systainer for 350€ and could not resist...
I had had the opportunity to use and compare for some minutes a Deros and a conventional Bosch gex 125-150 which is perhaps heavier, more vibration and worse in general) than the mafell but similar weight and volume. Man... such a difference. You were so right!

Iban, you asked somewhat obliquely about hoses. I can confirm that a st'd. Festool 27mm hose is a perfect fit on Mirka's hose interface. I'm referring to the old-style one here. I believe that F'tool has since changed their hoses & fittings for a somewhat stiffer, harder hose end. The new style still presumably still fit the old-style F'tool sander extraction outlets (including the oval ones??) & if so I assume it will also fit the Mirka's outlet.
The older hose ends were more rubbery & therefore able to conform to a variety of tools, including (with a lot of pushing & the odd swear-word) Metabo & Bosch outlets. So, if you have a F'tool extractor, then you're fine. If you have one of the other "big two" branded extractors - Nilfisk/Alto/Wap or Starmix - or their innumerable clones, then you're OK as well, as a small hose from either (or even Festool) will also fit. In other words, it's unnecessary to buy a Mirka hose if you have a smaller (25-27mm) hose from almost all euro-sourced alternatives.

I have a Bosch Dust extractor and it fits quite well I bought the mirka hose for hand sanders and while is much more flexible and light than the bosch it is too thin for the deros

This package is pretty good value for money: Both the DEROS 125/150 x 5 mm plus the (best sized) DEOS 81 x 133 mm. They DO seem to have cut a few corners - only one power cable possibly, & unsure if they've included all 3 abrasive/pad protective sampler packs or not. Nevertheless, its several hundred Au$ less than I paid some years ago for more or less the same thing. Also unclear how far or to which alternate countries they'll post.... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mirka-Deos-and-Deros-230v-Kit/174437291664?hash=item289d45d690:g:qsoAAOSwq5FfYNWg

The title, "If you could only have 1"... sort of implies one could want more than 1. I only have 1 RO.

You're probably right. i just like to have the basic covered first... so belt, corner, orbital... and then I never had a reason to need another RO. Is it something like a big and small orbit RO? How do the extra RO sanders help?

Yeah me too. I'm covered with a belt sander, the deros and, for the moment, a multi tool for corners
