Finally got my KSS60. Well packed and pretty impressive. Literally the only downside I can tell so far is that it's ... hefty. The slide action on the rail is impressive, seems to have a bevy of adjusting features, and whatnot.
Unexpected item: it comes with the Parallel guide fence, and it appears to fit the MT55 also.
Also, unlike the other rails, the KSS rail splinter guard is pre-trimmed (or at least appears to be) on mine.
Will try and post some pictures later when I've got a moment to actually turn the thing on, but the unboxing seems to be pretty nice.

Is it the 18v?

Corded; did some soul searching and while I know it'll probably be irritating at times, for the size of the saw, I decided to dispatch the batteries and go with a wire. If I get a smaller saw, I think it'll be cordless, though.

I use corded for the minimum possible, but it has it's place. I wasn't sure if the KSS60 had enough power in 18v, I've never really taxed it, but it seems OK. I understand your reasoning though.

I was also concerned about the power in the 18V one; the corded one is BEEEEEFY. It has some impressive heft, but is quite balanced. I'm drafting up a more full review (can't have too many, right?) of my first thoughts upon actually plugging it in and banging off a few cuts. Still buried in another project so it won't see heavy use yet. Suffice to say my initial impressions of actually turning it on match the unboxed moment.
